This week’s fruit update:

🍓This weekend it’s all about the tayberries, which are just delicious this year and, we think, taste a lot more like raspberries than previous years (but still with the classic tartness of a Tayberry). £6.50 per kg.

🍓Our strawberries are coming to the end of their run, and while flavour is good, picking is now slow and fruit small. £5.50 per kg.

🍒Cherries are coming on but most still need 10 days and it would be better to wait until next week. £7 per kg.

🫐We plan to have the first trays of blackcurrants next week as we start harvesting our fields. 3kg for £9, 8kg for £18. Please call ahead to reserve your tray. We do not take reservations for fruit on social media or through the website.

Monday – Sunday: 10am – 5pm

Fruit prices:

Strawberries: £5.50/kg

Gooseberries: £5/kg

Tayberries and Blackberries: £6.50/kg

Sweet cherries: £7/kg

Blackcurrant trays (please call ahead to check availability and to reserve): 3kg for £9, 8kg for £18.

No booking necessary

Car-parking: 2 hours max

To ensure that everyone is able to come and enjoy the farm during busy periods, we ask that you keep your visit to two hours or less.

This only applies for those parking – those cycling, walking or bussing it here are welcome to stay as long as you want! Enjoy your picking! 

Picnics

Please use the specified picnic area. Please do not picnic amongst the fruit.

No Dogs

While we love dogs, our fruit does not! During the picking season please do not bring your dog to the farm.
