Opening for Summer 2025!

We are delighted to say that we are soon to open for Summer 2025!

We will have strawberries for Pick Your Own early birds on Saturday 31st May. We will then have a few days for more ripening before opening permanently for the season from Thursday 5th June.

Strawberries will be £6.00 per kilo pick your own

Our opening hours are 10am-5pm.

Please note that this season, we will be closed on Mondays

    1. Hello Patrick, unfortunately we will not have raspberries this year- weather conditions have conspired against us. We have planted a lot of canes for next year though!

    1. Hi Jeff, there will be apple picking later in the season- likely to start early august. We have both eating apples and cooking apples. We will update the website when they are ready!

    Will you be expected peaches this year? I’ve heard you have grown them previously, looking to get supplies for a restaurant in Brighton

    1. Hi Hilary, our gooseberries are extremely limited this year, we will have a few likely in a week’s time but we will post on the website when those that are there are ready!

  3. Hello there, we want to come tomorrow (Sunday 8th) and pick some of your delicious strawbs! Tell me, what’s a Tayberry and where can I get 1?!

    1. Hello Sara and Eddie apologies for not replying yesterday, hope you enjoyed your day at the farm! A tayberry is a cross between a raspberry and a blackberry, it is juicy, perfect for stewing or jams and is very popular at the farm. We should have some in two weeks’ time or so but will keep you posted!

    1. Hi Jennie, we have only strawberries available now but we will have cherries available in the next couple of weeks as welL!

    1. Hello Angela, unfortunately our gooseberry crop is poor this year, there are a few there but not many I’m afraid!

    is the farm conventional farming or biodynamic or organic – ie soft fruit without chemical sprays and fertilizer?

    1. Hello Lisa, we are expecting to have blackcurrants available in early to mid July but will be advertising nearer the time

    I was hoping to come along with the family and pick some strawberries this Sunday (15th) – is this possible?

    1. Hello Laura, it is possible! There are plenty there at the moment – but we expect a lot of people so ideally come in the morning to lunchtime for best results
