Victorias are now good to pick. They will go on for 3 or four weeks so there is a lot of unripe fruit on the trees as well, just select the ripe ones! Greengages are delicious for picking now and they won’t last so long. Do try the apriums (apricot/plum cross) as well.

Many of you love our Estival apples which are ready in a couple of weeks. However she has a beautiful daughter, an apple called Summercrisp which is ready now. We look forward to your feedback on this one, it seems especially popular with the children.
Blackberries continue to pick well and the cobnuts are just starting, though flavour will improve over the next couple of weeks.
